Park Proposes Firewood Modifications for the Smoky Mountains National Park
Park Proposes Firewood Modifications for the Smoky Mountains National Forest. Great Smoky Mountains National Park officials are recommending modifications that will assist shield park woodlands by added limiting the type of firewood brought into the park. Non-native, tree-killing insects and illness can automatically be presented into the park through firewood provided from wrecked places. New invasions jeopardize our forests with typical tree death that might destroy wildlife environment, park biodiversity, as well as panoramas. The park is suggesting to lower this threat by altering park guidelines.
